Up for grabs is a fantastic piece of Pittsburgh history! This is a 1945 second printing of Rosey Reflections by Albert Kennedy Rosey Rowswell, who famously became the Pittsburgh Pirates' very first radio play-by-play broadcaster in 1936.This specific copy is a promotional presentation book distributed by the Fort Pitt Brewing Company. What makes this copy incredibly unique is that it is hand-signed on the inner presentation plate by Fort Pitt executives—including M. Berardino (President) and Nick Serrotta! It even includes the original, rare Personality: The Golden Rules insert printed on parchment style paper. Author: A. K. (Rosey) Rowswell (Legendary Pirates Broadcaster) Format: Hardcover with original dust jacket Publisher: A.E.P. Kerr Co., Pittsburgh Date: Second Printing, October 1945 (First edition year) Special Note: Features an original World War II wartime paper restriction notice on the copyright page. Very Good Vintage Condition Dust Jacket: Present and rare to find, showing some typical edge wear, minor chipping, and light tearing along the top margins from age. Binding: Solid, tight, and completely square. Pages: Clean, crisp, and free from highlighting or margin notes. Features light natural paper aging. Signatures/Inserts: The Fort Pitt Brewing presentation plate is firmly affixed with bright, distinct signatures. The standalone Personality rule insert sheet is crisp and perfectly preserved.
