Thank you very much for viewing. I am starting to declutter my collection storage, so I have decided to list this item. This is a long-term storage item. This is a high-quality iaito (replica sword) with a beautiful hamon (temper line) characteristic of Fujiwara Kanefusa, featuring dragon god and Sanskrit characters carved into the blade, and a deep crimson saya (scabbard). The脇差 (wakizashi) blade has a very small ding on the monouchi (the part of the blade near the tip), and there is some minor, unnoticeable plating roughness on parts of the carvings due to age. Additionally, there are small dents on a part of the saya. However, other than these points, there are no other significant noticeable scratches, and the condition is good. As it has been stored in a dark place, there is no fading of the tsuka-ito (handle wrap) or sageo (cord). *Please note that there may be some minor damage due to age and storage. Sensitive individuals are advised to refrain from purchasing. We appreciate your consideration. Iaito [Dragon Carved Daisho Koshirae (Kanefusa Replica)] Daito (Long Sword) - Overall Length: Approx. 101cm - Blade Length (excluding habaki): Approx. 71cm - Handle Length: Approx. 24.5cm - Total Weight: Approx. 1100g - Weight when unsheathed: Approx. 900g Wakizashi (Short Sword) - Overall Length: Approx. 68cm - Blade Length (excluding habaki): Approx. 45cm - Handle Length: Approx. 17cm - Weight: Approx. 700g - Weight when unsheathed: Approx. 570g Koshirae (Mountings) [for both Daito and Wakizashi] - Special alloy construction Shinogi-zukuri style, with dragon god and Sanskrit character carvings Kanefusa-style midare-hamon (thin blade) - Wooden handle with genuine ray skin and pure black cotton tsuka-ito - Tsuba (hand guard) made of iron with inlaid openwork - Menuki (ornaments under the tsuka-ito) are phoenix design - Kashira (pommel cap) and Fuchi (collar) are bird design - Deep crimson lacquered saya - Sageo is pure black braided cord *All dimensions are approximate. The sword stand is not included. Only the sword will be provided. *We apologize, but we have no knowledge of iaido, so we cannot answer technical questions.
