This is a vintage wooden carved cat. It is a folk craft made in Thailand, and its expression, looking straight ahead with its slightly upward-looking, round eyes, is very endearing. The posture with its front paws together and its neck elegantly extended is also cute. Although the type of wood is unknown, it is surprisingly heavy and made of a magnificent, high-quality wood with a grain comparable to teak or rosewood. You can see that the craftsman has skillfully utilized this grain in its finishing. While cute, it has a good balance that isn't overly saccharine, making it a good match for vintage furniture. Height: Approx. 38cm Width: Approx. 10cm Good condition with no noticeable scratches, stains, cracks, or chips. Recommended for cat lovers, those with a surname containing Neko (cat), those working in cat-related professions (pet shops, pet food, cat cafes, etc.), or as a striking-sized lucky cat for store displays. Also, perhaps for fans of Fujita Tsuguharu, who was a lover of cats. As this is a vintage, one-of-a-kind item, please consider purchasing it soon if you are interested. Please note that images from the 13th onwards are for separately sold items, but we also have other vintage and retro雑貨 (miscellaneous goods) and folk crafts from various countries available. Discounts are available for combined purchases. #Cat #Kitten #CatFigurine #CatObject #CatGoods #ManekiNeko #CatDay #Vintage #Nordic Click here for the manufacturer's site
