Antique Towle Mfg. Co. Sterling Silver Pie Server – Victorian Era – Monogrammed – Bright Cut Engraved Blade Beautiful antique sterling silver pie server by Towle Manufacturing Company, dating to the late 19th century (approximately 1880s–1890s). The reverse is clearly marked TOWLE MFG. CO., an early hallmark used before Towle adopted its later lion-and-T trademark. The handle features an elegant Victorian design with a beaded teardrop motif and ornate scrollwork. The blade is hand engraved with a delicate floral bright-cut pattern, making this an attractive serving piece for pie, cake, or desserts. Details: * Maker: Towle Manufacturing Company * Material: Sterling Silver * Era: Victorian, circa 1880s–1890s * Marked: TOWLE MFG. CO. * Monogram: Script monogram on front handle (see photos) * Engraved floral blade with W * Hollow handle construction with sterling handle and stainless/steel blade typical of the period Good antique condition with age-appropriate wear, light surface scratches, patina/tarnish, and signs of normal use. No major damage noted. Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description. A wonderful addition to any Towle collection, sterling silver collection, or Victorian tableware collection.
