Listing Description Nikon FM2 35mm SLR Film Camera Body Only (Black Finish) Up for sale is an iconic Nikon FM2 35mm manual-focus SLR film camera body in desirable black finish. Famous for its legendary durability, ultra-fast 1/4000s mechanical shutter, and pure analog shooting experience, the FM2 remains one of the most sought-after film cameras ever built. Condition & Functionality Details (Please Read): Mechanical Functionality: Fully operational! The mechanical shutter fires across all speeds (including Bulb and top speeds up to 1/4000s). The film advance lever, frame counter, self-timer, shutter speed dial, and film door latch all function smoothly. Light Meter Condition: Non-working / Inoperative. Fresh LR44/SR44 batteries were installed, but the internal light meter LEDs do not illuminate. Note: Because the FM2 features a 100% mechanical shutter, the camera functions perfectly without batteries when using Sunny 16, a handheld meter, or a light meter smartphone app. Cosmetics: Good pre-owned vintage condition with normal brassing/wear on edges and corner points typical for a black-body film camera. Body cap is included.
