Vintage F.B. Rogers Silver Co. 17 Tree of Life Well & Tree Meat Platter - Silver on Copper #6720 Tree of Life meat platter (also known as a Well and Tree platter) manufactured by the F.B. Rogers Silver Co. Material: Silver on Copper heavy, high-quality weight and excellent heat retention Model Number: 6720. Good to Very Good Vintage Condition ****Surface: There are light flea bite scratches and surface scuffs consistent with meat carving and normal use. The Well and Tree channels are clear and well-defined. Plating: The silver plating appears largely intact. There is very little bleeding (where the red copper base shows through the silver), which is a sign of high quality. Most of the dark spots visible in the photos appear to be heavy tarnish rather than loss of plating; these should lift with a quality silver polish. Structure: All four decorative feet are present, level, and securely attached. There are no visible deep dents or warping to the main body. Hallmarks: The stamps on the underside (F.B. Rogers Silver Co. 6720 / Silver on Copper) are crisp and easy to read, which is important for collectors. 17 x 13 inches wide 2 inches tall (has a deep well at the foot of the tree & feet on tray) flat area (no rim area) 10 x 7 inches ^724...weight 3lbs 13.0 oz Smoke Free Pet Free Home
