Montbell Sawa Shoes, 25cm Purchased last year, used lightly only once, so they are practically new. The following is a reproduction from the Montbell HP. These are river trekking shoes created by incorporating Montbell's unique ideas into tabi (Japanese split-toe socks) and waraji (traditional straw sandals). The shoelaces pull from the heel side, similar to waraji, achieving an excellent fit. The inside of the toe box is split like tabi, preventing your feet from slipping and providing a comfortable fit. Additionally, the ankle area uses soft and highly fitting ClimaPrene® [chloroprene rubber], which does not hinder ankle movement during river trekking and prevents sand and small pebbles from entering. The outsole uses polypropylene felt. Specifications [Materials] (Upper) ClimaPrene® [4mm thick chloroprene rubber (double-sided jersey)] (Sole) Polypropylene Felt [Weight] 328g (26.0cm, one foot) [Color] Blue (OBL/G) [Size] 22.0-29.0cm (1cm increments) Polypropylene Felt Polypropylene felt, a material that does not easily absorb water, offers excellent grip and durability, making it effective in various conditions. Grip Strength Guide for Each Sole Polypropylene Felt: This material does not easily absorb water and exhibits excellent grip on slippery algae and moss. However, it can be slippery on grassy slopes or mud, so caution is advised. Aqua Gripper (Rubber): Montbell's proprietary outsole, Aqua Gripper, is characterized by its high grip on wet rocks. Conversely, it can be slippery on slippery algae and moss, so caution is necessary. Click here for the manufacturer's site
