Recommended by Pulse Commune, your specialist in vintage capacitors. The Ultimate Precision Bass Assembly / Vintage Cornell Grey Tiger Wax Specification (Made to Order) Crafted using carefully selected vintage capacitors, vintage wiring, and vintage solder. (Standard inch size, but can be converted to metric.) This is our most popular setup for repairs. By using vintage wiring, the improved sound quality from the vintage capacitors is realistically expressed. The resolution of vintage wiring material is on a different level compared to the wiring commonly used in modern guitars, including high-end models. Sounds that were previously indistinct, as if hidden deep within the speakers, will now realistically spread out and jump forward. You can fully enjoy the delicate touch of your fingertips and nuanced sounds that were previously expressed only vaguely. Furthermore, the speed from playing to sound production is faster, which will surely have a positive impact on your playing. We have carefully examined numerous vintage wiring materials and selected those that are close to the tone of modern, common bass sounds, and those that maximize the potential of bass sounds. The capacitor is the top-tier Grey Tiger from the highest quality vintage Cornell Tiger series. Although it is a version without the Grey Tiger logo, the internal components are genuine and the sound quality is identical. It is a popular item for repairs because it is distributed at a slightly lower price. Compared to the Tiger, it has a more pronounced midrange, making it a highly popular capacitor for bass. While the Fender genuine Circle D is also popular, this capacitor offers a thicker tone with a wider range and a dry, mature, and渋い (shibui - sophisticated/austere) sound quality. Compared to Bumble Bee, it has a wider range, rich overtones, a dry texture, and a glossy, soft sound quality. Simply solder your existing pickups (2 locations) and the ground wire connected to the body (1 location) using the included vintage solder for repairs. An instruction manual for installation is included. Once you get used to this sound, it's so wonderful that you won't be able to play other basses. We highly recommend this for those who want to bring out the full potential of their bass, those who are struggling with their tone, or those who find vintage instruments too expensive.
