The AKAI MPC2000XL is a high-performance sampling machine equipped with a 16-bit drum sampler and MIDI sequencer. - Brand: AKAI - Model Name: MPC2000XL - Features: 16-bit Drum Sampler / MIDI Sequencer - Color: Gray - Control Panel: Features a distinctive layout of buttons and knobs - Number of Pads: 16 pads Artists like Q-Tip from A Tribe Called Quest have used it, creating many rich sounds. DJ Mitsu the Beats from GAGLE in Japan also used it for a long time. While an audio interface and other equipment may be necessary, this unit alone can expand your music production capabilities. The LCD screen is burned out and almost unreadable, so the price has been reduced. There is no noise, and sampling input, stereo out, headphone out, pad sensitivity, etc., are all in good working order. I used it without any particular issues or complaints. It was invaluable for its unique punchy tone that only the 2000XL has. The screen burn-in was troublesome when using it, so I resorted to sampling sounds on the MPC and editing them in sync with my computer. The CF card reader was replaced from when I purchased it. CF cards are more durable and faster to read than floppy disks or SD cards, making them very convenient. OS is 1.2, Memory is 32MB. Power cable is included. If you are interested in a price reduction, please let me know. I will offer a discount to those who contact me, so thank you in advance. Thank you for looking.
