Charming and rustic vintage handmade wooden flatbed truck marked “Ford No.9” on the cab sides. Painted in a cheerful mustard yellow with black detailing and metal accents, including a simple wire steering wheel. The truck body is crafted entirely from solid wood, showcasing hand-cut and painted features that give it a nostalgic, folk-art look. This toy truck likely dates from the late 1940s to early 1960s, a period when handmade wooden toys were popular both in home workshops and small craft production before mass-produced plastic toys became mainstream. The flatbed and wheels have a classic utilitarian shape typical of early Ford truck styles, suggesting inspiration from midcentury Ford F-Series models. Details: * Approx. size: 18” L × 8” W × 8” H * Weight: ≈ 3 lbs 14.4 oz (1.77 kg) * Material: Wood with metal steering wheel * Color: Yellow with black and gray painted accents * Markings: “Ford” and “No.9” hand-painted on cab * Era: c. 1950s–1960s * Condition: Good vintage condition for age. Shows surface wear, scuffs, and paint loss. Missing one rear wheel. Structurally solid and displays beautifully. Collectibility: A wonderful piece of midcentury folk art or vintage Americana, perfect for collectors of wooden toys, Ford memorabilia, or rustic decor. Its handmade craftsmanship and patina tell the story of a bygone era when toys were built to last.
