Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible Carroll C.W. Shoemaker Handmade Miniature Penny Knife. This unique work of folk art was meticulously hand-crafted by renowned miniature maker Carroll Shoemaker. Using a genuine 2001 United States Lincoln penny, the artisan precisely cut out a tiny fixed-blade Bowie knife directly from the center of the coin, leaving a perfect matching silhouette frame. * The Blade: Profiled down from the coin itself. Because modern pennies are copper-plated zinc, the grinding process removes the outer layer to expose a striking, bright silver-toned zinc blade. The blade guard retains the original copper plating. * The Handle: Features finely crafted, smooth white scales secured cleanly with microscopic custom rivets. * Display Case: Comes nestled against a black foam backing inside its clear, protective round coin capsule. This is a phenomenal conversation piece and a must-have addition for any custom miniature cutlery collection, coin art enthusiast, or novelty collector. Shipping & Handling: Will be shipped securely packaged with tracking to ensure safe delivery. Please review the high-resolution photos carefully to inspect the exact condition of the coin and mini knife before purchasing. Feel free to message me with any questions!
