It is produced only in the Kunisaki Peninsula of Oita Prefecture in Japan. Shichitoi rush sandals are made by weaving rush into ropes and then finishing them into sandals. The surface that touches the sole has a woven rope texture, which comfortably stimulates the acupressure points on the soles of your feet, providing a massage effect. They are durable, breathable, and offer a comfortable fit without foot odor or stickiness. By weaving rush into ropes and then crafting them into sandals, a textured surface is created. This moderate texture comfortably stimulates the acupressure points on the soles of your feet, offering a massage effect and making them recommended as health sandals. These were created by making ropes from Shichitoi rush, a specialty of Oita Prefecture's Kunisaki Peninsula, and then weaving them.
