Offered for sale is a vintage Sheaffer Balance 350 fountain pen manufactured by the W.A. Sheaffer Pen Company of Fort Madison, Iowa, U.S.A. This classic lever-fill fountain pen features a genuine 14K gold Sheaffer No. 33 nib and the streamlined design that made the Balance series one of the most recognizable American fountain pens of the late 1930s and early 1940s. The pen retains its original barrel imprint, lever-fill configuration, and gold nib. It presents well as a vintage collectible and would make an excellent addition to a fountain pen collection, restoration project, display, or vintage writing instrument assortment. Please refer to the photographs for details regarding appearance, markings, and overall condition. No functionality has been checked. This pen has not been tested with ink, and no attempt has been made to evaluate the filling system, ink sac, nib performance, feed, seals, or internal components. It is being sold strictly as found, as-is, with no guarantees regarding operation, completeness, or serviceability. Buyers should assume the pen may require cleaning, restoration, repair, replacement parts, or other servicing before use. The photographs are considered part of the description, and the item shown is the exact item that will be shipped.
