From Lux Ribbon Room, a curated destination for rare and luxury ribbon and designer packaging ephemera. 📌IMPORTANT •From a closed European trim archive •No replacement yardage guaranteed •Once released, this cut cannot be recreated •Next release, if any, will be priced higher •Quantity is extremely limited Exceptional vintage 1940s French jacquard ribbon, woven from a luminous pink silk base with intricate gold metallic detailing throughout an ornate couture-era pattern. The craftsmanship, materials, and dimensional weave reflect the caliber of mid-20th century European trim production, created for fashion houses and specialty ateliers rather than mass retail. Ribbon from the 1940s was produced in small, specialized runs, and surviving examples in unused condition are increasingly difficult to source. This piece has a refined hand, elegant sheen, and unmistakable old-world character that immediately distinguishes it from modern trims DETAILS •Era: 1940s •Origin: France •Style: Vintage couture jacquard trim •Pattern: Ornate woven motif •Colorway: Pink with gold metallic •Length: Two (2) Yards •Width: 5/8 •Finish: Soft, non-wired •Condition: New old stock, unused
