This is an authentic, matching two-piece set of late-19th-century Victorian Bristol-style art glass. The set features a striking tall vase alongside a coordinating short pedestal compote bowl or goblet. Both pieces are crafted from semi-opaque glass in a beautiful antique taupe (clambroth/mushroom) hue. They are delicately ornamented with hand-painted gold gilt scrollwork framing white enamel floral details. The tall vase features an unpolished, sharp, fractured rough pontil mark on the base. This provides definitive proof of its hand-blown artisan origin. Measurements * Taller Vase: 8.25 Height x 3.25 Diameter * Short Goblet / Compote: 4.5 Height x 3.5 Diameter Condition Report * Glass Integrity: Excellent antique condition. There are no chips, cracks, structural fractures, or flea bites on the rims, bodies, or bases of either piece. * Gold Gilt & Enamel: The hand-painted decoration is remarkably well-preserved. There is minor, age-appropriate light rubbing and surface wear to the gold finish upon close inspection, which is expected for true Victorian-era glass. Please review all photos for exact cosmetic condition. * Maker's Mark: None present (characteristic of European Bristol/Bohemian art glass of this era). Shipping & Handling This delicate pair will be securely packaged using specialized packing materials.
