Enhance your collection or home decor with this striking antique Japanese Satsuma earthenware vase, dating from the late Meiji to the early Taisho/Showa period (circa 1900s–1930s). This exquisite piece showcases the traditional Moriage technique, featuring heavily textured, raised-dot slip painting that brings the ornate details to life. ✨ Key Features & Details * Artistry & Design: A highly detailed, three-dimensional scene wraps around the body, depicting stylized traditional Japanese figures and Samurai warriors detailed in vivid brick-red, cream, and ochre tones. * Classic Form: Accented with unique molded side handles on the shoulders and a classic flared scalloped rim. * Authenticity: The underside of the base is unmarked, a common attribute for early 20th-century independent studio export wares and souvenir pieces. * Visual Appeal: Perfect as an elegant mantel accent piece, entryway focal point, or addition to an Asian antiquities collection. 🔍 Condition Report This vase is in beautiful antique condition with excellent structural integrity. Free of major cracks, chips, or structural repairs. It exhibits authentic, fine age-related crazing throughout the creamy base glaze, alongside minor cosmetic glaze pops and light, historic wear to the raised Moriage detailing. This natural aging confirms its genuine historic origin and adds incredible vintage character. 📏 Measurements * Height: 12
