This is the novel La Dernière Innocence (The Last Innocence) by Célia Bertin, published in France in 1953. This is a historic edition that won the prestigious French literary award, the Renaudot Prize, in the same year. [Decorative Appeal as Interior Decor] The pale beige cover with green trim and classic typography is exceptionally beautiful, creating a French vintage atmosphere simply by being placed on display. The subtle yake (brownish hue) of the paper due to age is exquisite, making it a perfect match for antique furniture and dried flowers. [Recommended Uses] As a display on your room's shelves or side tables As store fixtures for cafes or shops As a background or prop for photographing accessories and small items For French language study or as part of a collection [Condition] Year of Publication: 1953 Condition: As this is a vintage item over 70 years old, there are small tears on the edges of the cover and overall discoloration (yake) due to age. This character is unique to old paper and the item is in a condition where you can enjoy its antique charm. Size: Approximately 14 x 19 x 2 cm (A good size for carrying or displaying) [Shipping] We will carefully deliver it with waterproof packaging via secure Mercari delivery. We hope to pass this on to someone who can appreciate the warm texture unique to old books that have weathered many years. We also have other antique and shabby chic items for sale. #Uhime_antique Please take a look. ❁⃘ Click here for the manufacturer's site
