Artist: Piet Mondrian Title: Composition This is a framed serigraph (silk screen) print. The frame is an aluminum frame with glass, giving it a substantial feel. Year of Production: 1980 Publisher: Nouvelles Images SA SIZE: Height 71.7cm x Width 71.0cm Condition: Stored in the frame after purchase from a gallery. There may be slight age-related discoloration, but I believe there is minimal damage. The aluminum frame has some minor scratches upon close inspection, but the overall condition is good. The color is closest to the second image. Compared to modern offset printing, 1980s silk screen prints have a thicker ink layer and more vibrant colors. Distributor: Petit Forme This is a reputable gallery in Osaka that has dealt with high-quality prints and contemporary art for many years, indicating that this piece was carefully selected and sold with a discerning eye at the time. Inscriptions on the lower left: MONDRIAN / COMPOSITION EN ROUGE, BLEU ET JAUNE / PAINTING WITH RED, BLUE AND YELLOW COLOURS / KOMPOSITION ROT, BLAU UND GELB / COMPOSIZIONE ROSSO, BLU E GIALLO / 1930 / COLL. PRIVÉE ZÜRICH / Inscriptions on the lower right: NOUVELLES IMAGES SA, ÉDITEURS / 45700 LOMBREUIL - FRANCE / © SPADEM 1980 / SÉRIGRAPHIE PRINTED IN FRANCE / M 80 Please note that shipping may take some time, so the Days to Ship setting has been extended longer than usual.
