I made an original design leather tsuba (hand guard) for Kendo as a hobby. How about it for those who want to add individuality and fun to their Kendo? Thickness: 6mm to 8mm Inner diameter: 30mm, Outer diameter: 80mm Black Taijitu (Yin-Yang symbol) image Horsehide It is softer than commercially available leather tsuba, but it has not broken during practice, matches, or dan tests. Photos 6 and 7 show a tsuba I used for one year with weekly practice. Because the leather is soft, it fits even relatively thick shinai (bamboo swords). The shinai is the Hyuga Series Thick Grip by professional Kendo practitioner Hyuga Kajitani. As this is handmade and hand-stitched by an amateur, please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for perfection. It will be shipped using Yu-Packet Post Mini. Please note that the color of the photos may differ due to the shooting environment. Although it is new and unused, please understand that handmade products, natural leather may have scratches, dirt, color variations, unevenness, tiger stripes, wrinkles, etc. As this is handmade, it is not perfect, so please purchase only if you understand and agree. No accessories are included. Please check the photos for condition and make your own judgment. Click here for the manufacturer's site
