VINTAGE HAND-CARVED POLISH HEXAGON KEEPSAKE BOX WITH BRASS INLAY Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic vintage Polish folk art trinket box featuring a classic hexagonal shape. This piece features masterful traditional chip-carving and pyrography (wood-burning techniques) characteristic of the Podhale / Zakopane region near the Tatra Mountains of Poland. The lid boasts stunning, intricate brass wire inlay work (inkrustacja) outlining a geometric repeating circle design and framing a beautiful multi-toned central floral rosette. The bottom retains its original, vibrant yellow retail sticker from Kaiser Bill's, a famous and beloved Bavarian-themed import specialty shop located in downtown Helen, Georgia that permanently closed its doors. • Style: Polish Folk Art / Zakopane Chip-Carving / Pyrography • Accents: Hand-Hammered Brass Wire Inlay Detailing • Shape: Hexagon • Material: Handcrafted Linden Wood & Brass Excellent pre-owned vintage condition. The structural woodwork remains perfectly intact with no splits, cracks, or deep gouges. The brass wire inlay is securely set into the wood channels with a beautiful, authentic vintage glow. The top lid lifts off and seats down flush and secure. There is a gorgeous warm honey-toned vintage patina. The bottom stickers remain largely intact, with minor typical age fading to the barcode sticker. Please review all provided photos carefully for exact visual details on condition and dimensions.
