This is vintage resin set of bookends from the Noah's Ark collectible collection designed by David Walker for Michael and Company. This specific piece features half of Noah's Ark, showcasing a pink hippopotamus walking up a wooden ramp, followed by a pair of yellow lions, and sheep at the end of the base. It serves as one half of a heavy, two-piece heavy resin bookend set designed for nurseries or children's rooms. The second matching piece shows the opposite end of the ark with blue elephants, monkeys, and giraffes. The Left Side (piece with the ramp): 5 ⅜ High x 10 Deep x 4 ⅝ Wide The Right Side (The blue elephant piece): 5 ⅜ High x 3 ⅝ Deep x 4 ⅝ Wide Because the ramp piece extends out to catch the animals walking up, it is significantly deeper than the opposing side. When pushed together without books, the total combined length is roughly 13 ⅝ inches. The set is in great condition with no chips or cracks. However, as always please look at all pictures carefully before purchasing.
