Up for sale is a beautiful, 100% authentic vintage Louis Vuitton Monogram Trousse Toilette 23 travel pouch. The 23 size is the most coveted size in the Trousse line, making it highly sought after due to its ideal proportions. Originally designed as a premium cosmetic and toiletry case, this versatile piece is incredibly popular today to use standalone as a casual chic clutch, an everyday makeup bag, or an elegant catch-all organizer inside larger bags. This item is a guaranteed authentic heritage piece. The interior date stamp reads 833, which dates its production to March 1983. During the early 1980s (1980–1984), Louis Vuitton utilized a 3-digit numbering system where the first two digits signify the year ('83') and the final digit represents the month ('3'). It does not feature factory alpha-codes, which is exactly correct for this era of production. Exterior Canvas: Thick, durable vintage monogram canvas. Holds its shape beautifully with classic, rich coloration. Corners & Edges: Standard vintage wear. No major splits or heavy piping exposure. Interior: Washable lining with interior elastic holders to keep items secure. Shows typical signs of gentle pre-owned vintage use (minor scuffs/fading typical of the 1980s lining). Hardware & Zipper: The brass zipper runs smoothly. Shows beautiful, authentic vintage patina.
