Vintage Miriam Haskell necklace, circa 1951 to 1970s, signed MIRIAM HASKELL on a tag. Miriam Haskell was a New York–founded costume jewelry house launched in 1926, celebrated for its intricately hand-assembled, heavily beaded, baroque-pearl and filigree aesthetic. Its vintage pieces remain highly collectible, with examples held by institutions like The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Material: - Synthetic pearl with glass base - Gold-plated brass Measurements: - Length: 74 cm, or 29.13 in Condition: - General vintage wear present throughout. - Most pearls show surface wear, including peeling. - Some knots in the string with loose thread ends showing between the beads.
