Folding Low Table (Chabudai) x Black Lacquer, Rounded Corners, Foldable Legs [Era] Mid to Late Showa Period (approx. 1950s-1970s) (Estimated) [Size] H30 x W88.5 x D57 cm [Condition] Normal for age (scuffs and stains on tabletop, paint peeling on corners / small scratches on legs) [Wobble] None Quiet black. But up close, the water rings and scuffs remaining on the tabletop tell the story of time spent living. Folding Leg Structure: Legs fold inward, a practical design for Showa-era living. Paint Finish: The unevenness of the black lacquer, the way the corners have peeled, and the visible base layer create a natural patina from years of use. Signs of Use: The softened, rounded corners and the uneven scuffs on the tabletop are memories you can feel that cannot be replicated in mass-produced new items. When not in use, fold the legs for space-saving. Bring it out only for guests / also great as a photography stand or plant stand. The black tabletop makes dishes, flowers, and old paper items stand out. Black that enhances what you place on it. No wobbling, still fully functional as a piece of furniture. [Notes] - There are scuffs, stains, and small paint chips on the corners of the tabletop. (Please check the photos) - As this is an old piece of furniture, slight wood expansion or contraction may occur depending on the environment. - All items are pre-owned/vintage. Please purchase with an understanding of the natural aging, scuffs, and scratches. [Packaging] Carefully protected and shipped. [CO₂ Discount] For multiple purchases, we offer a small discount for consolidated shipping. Please feel free to inquire. Immediate purchase is welcome. Please comment if you have any questions.
