[Product Description] Lloyd's Antiques is an interior shop that handles British antique furniture and Scandinavian vintage furniture, with flagship stores in Aoyama and Meguro, Tokyo. This is a bentwood armchair handled by Lloyd's Antiques. Thonet was the pioneer of this design, but similar items were also handled by Jacob Josef Kohn and Mundus. We could not determine which company produced it as there were no markings, but Lloyd's Antiques' mark is on the underside of the seat. This is an antique item produced in Austria or the UK around 1900-1920. This is a bentwood chair made by softening wood with heat to create beautiful curves. The floral embossed pattern is symbolic of that era. It is lightweight and durable, making it highly practical and widely used in cafes. It also serves as an accent to your interior.
