A gorgeous vintage Coach NYC Basic Bag in a beautiful, saturated red glove-tanned leather. This is an early Coach piece featuring the sought-after glue-in creed, original brass hardware, and its original Coach keychain/hangtag. The bag has the wonderful character of early Coach leather, with natural variation, wrinkles and a soft vintage patina. The structured rectangular silhouette and zip-top construction make it both collectible and very wearable. DETAILS: • Vintage 1970s/1980s-era Coach • Made in New York City, USA • Red glove-tanned cowhide leather • Glue-in Coach creed • Registration No. 245-9921 • Brass/gold-tone anchor/Talon hardware • Original Coach keychain/hangtag • Zip-top closure • Adjustable/removable shoulder strap • Classic early Coach construction CONDITION: Good vintage condition with plenty of character. The leather remains supple and the bag holds its shape beautifully. There are visible vintage marks and signs of wear, including a longer pen mark on the exterior, smaller scuffs and spots, and some wear along the edges and piping. The brass hardware shows normal age-related patina. The interior is clean overall with normal signs of vintage use. Please review all photos carefully, as they are considered part of the description and show the condition and character of this vintage piece. This is a wonderful example for a collector of early Coach or anyone who loves authentic vintage leather bags with history and character.
