It is a representative motif called Acha-san holding a chicken, and its design, influenced by foreign cultures, is characteristic of Nagasaki. The storage box is inscribed with the purchase details: purchased at Kawabe-do in Nagasaki in Heisei 5 (1993). Koga Dolls vary in coloring and expression from piece to piece, but this item has a good balance of colors and is a well-balanced piece with a calm atmosphere. [Condition] No noticeable scratches or chips are visible, and the overall condition is good. The box has stains and damage due to age. Koga Dolls are considered one of the three major traditional Japanese clay dolls, alongside Fushimi Dolls and Tsutsumi Dolls, and are being re-evaluated by collectors in recent years. Pieces with a known origin are not widely available, so we recommend this to those who are looking for one. [Condition] No noticeable scratches or chips are visible, and the overall condition is good. The box has damage and stains due to age. [Size] Height: approx. 17.5cm Width: approx. 8.5cm ＊We carefully check the condition of the item, but there may be oversights. Also, as perceptions vary from person to person, please check the photos and only purchase if you understand and agree that this is a used item. ＊The shipping method may be changed depending on the situation.
