This is a ceramic figurine by Kato Kogei, featuring a pair of Western aristocrats (man and woman) with a dog. The design depicts a couple elegantly dressed and leaning close together, with delicate sculpting and exquisite gold accents that make it a striking piece. It has a classical, Rococo-style atmosphere, making it recommended for interior decoration or as a collectible. This version with a dog is rare and has a strong presence. As the historical value of such Seto Novelty items is expected to increase in the future, we highly recommend this opportunity to acquire a beautiful piece with no chips, even on the delicate fingertips. Kato Kogei has already ceased operations, so this is likely a difficult item to obtain. [Condition] No chips or cracks are found, it has a good luster, and the gold accents remain beautiful. Overall, it is in good condition. (Please understand that there may be minor scuffs or age-related changes.) [Size] Height: Approximately 20cm Width: Approximately 21.5cm Depth: Approximately 11.8cm This item will be sold to those who understand Showa Retro and vintage items.
