Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic vintage Burberry top-handle Boston satchel bag, dating from the late 1980s to early 1990s. This classic structured satchel is crafted from durable, textured black leather and features the iconic pre-1999 Burberrys branding. The front of the bag showcases a gold-tone oval plaque featuring the lowercase Burberrys text, equestrian knight, and oak leaf crest from this era. Inside, it features an engraved gold-tone plaque reading Burberrys of London and is lined with the signature vintage Nova Check fabric. Very Good Vintage Condition. Please view detailed photos as they are part of the description. Exterior: The black grained leather is structured, clean, and holds its shape well. There is some normal surface wear and rubbing/scuffing on the corners from gentle use for a bag from this era (please see photos). Hardware: The gold-tone hardware shows light scratches but retains its bright, beautiful shine. Interior: The signature Nova Check lining is intact with no rips or tears. There are a few light stains inside the lining consistent with age and careful use (please see photos). Handles/Zippers: Handles are sturdy with minimal cosmetic wear; the main zipper runs smoothly. Measurements (Approximate): 12 in. by 8 in. by 7 in. Handle Drop: 6 in. This bag belonged to my mom. I am selling many of her vintage/high end leather goods.
