The Scene Pastoral Picnic Scene: A blue-suited gentleman relaxes beside his reclining companion in a colorful mountain landscape, surrounded by fruit, bread, and a bottle. The lower portion of this plaque is visibly signed “Leona”. Item Details Included One framed oval wall plaque Style Botero-inspired / Boterismo-style figural décor Subjects Outdoor picnic scene Signature “Leona” visible on lower portion of picnic plaque Frames Matching dark wood-tone oval frames with gold/copper-tone accent trim Approx. Dimensions13 in. L x 11 in. H x approximately 3 in. D, including frame Measurements are approximate and were taken at the widest and deepest points of the framed pieces. Condition Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and character. The artwork remains bright, colorful, and highly decorative. Please review all photographs closely, as they are an important part of the description. Noticeable paint chipping/loss is present along the lower edge of the picnic plaque, below and near the “Leona” signature; a light-colored underlayer is visible in this area. The painted surfaces retain a pleasing sheen, with no major widespread cracking visible across the main figures. The wooden frame show vintage scuffs, edge wear, rubbing, and finish/gilding loss, most noticeably along the inner gold-tone accent rim. Wear is consistent with age and use and contributes to the vintage decorative character. Please rely on the listing photographs for the best representation of condition
