Antique Art Nouveau brass-toned metal picture frame dating to approximately 18901910. Beautiful period design with flowing whiplash scrollwork, dimensional roses and detailed leaves in contrasting warm metal tones. The frame has a wonderfully sculptural quality, with three raised roses surrounded by sinuous wirework characteristic of the Art Nouveau period. Original-style slender wire easel back allows it to stand for tabletop display. Good antique condition with age-related patina, oxidation, surface wear and discoloration consistent with a piece over 100 years old. Please review photos closely for condition and measurements.
