Reproduction Vietnam War Tiger Stripe MACV SOG Hand-Guided Sewing Machine Embroidery Boonie Hat This is a reproduction item. Factory stated size is 59-60 cm. As these are handmade hats, there may be slight individual differences in size. The embroidery is also done by hand, just like during the Vietnam War era. Even with the same pattern, each hat is subtly different, resulting in a unique and tasteful finish. Hand-guided sewing machine embroidery is not fully automated computer embroidery. Instead, the hat is moved freely on the sewing machine table by hand to create the embroidery. Chalk marks are made for alignment, and powder is used to improve movement on the sewing machine table, which inevitably leads to some minor work-related dirt during the process. This is also consistent with the Vietnam War era. Finally, the images are examples, and since they are reused, the camouflage patterns will differ from one hat to another. Please consider this before making a purchase.
