Original rubber heel caps with almost no wear. One minor scuff on one tip; otherwise, the skin looks great. One shaft has minor issues. See photos The Tony Lama Style 8268 refers to a vintage, highly collectible Tony Lama Men's Eel Skin Cowboy Boots. Unlike modern standard-production cowhide or ostrich lines, these are rare, discontinued exotic boots from Tony Lama's mid-to-late 20th-century catalogs. * Genuine Eel Skin Leather: The foot (vamp) is constructed from tiered or paneled authentic eel skin, known for its distinct linear striping, high gloss sheen, and smooth, supple texture. * Color Schemes: While most commonly surfaced in a sleek midnight black, vintage deadstock pairs also exist in rich cognac and dark brown variations. * Classic Silhouette: Features a traditional 13-inch mid-calf leather shaft decorated with classic western multi-row contrast stitching, a tapered traditional cowboy toe, and a stacked leather western riding heel. * Craftsmanship: Built by hand in the USA utilizing a full leather lining, leather insoles, and a durable Goodyear welted leather outsole. * Estimated Pricing: Depending entirely on the condition of the eel skin panels (checking for splitting or drying) and heel wear, pre-owned pairs generally trade between $80.00 and $175.00.
