Leaders in leather made handbags like this through the 70s and earlier. The satchel is in nice condition with the only leather flaws I’ve seen are one bottom seam was not stitched properly and one corner has a small half inch tear. Otherwise, the leather is in really good condition. Does show some pen marks, wear and water stains from use. Handles are in excellent shape and feel like they have been conditioned and taken care of. No part of this purse feels dried or crusty. The leather handles have gold gold tone hardware & adjustable straps. Drop at the smallest 10 1/2 inch. Purse measures approximately 13 x 9 x 4. Has one exterior zipped pocket on each side. Zipper to close the purse leading to 3 interior areas. The center area is a suede pouch that is zippered and has several exterior pockets. Interior is clean with no staining or tears. The wallet looks to be of Mexican heritage and measures approximately 7 x 3 1/2. Looks like it was never used and snaps closed. Edges look a little worn, possibly from storage. Price tag removal has exposed some of the leather. The wallet is very soft and supple as well.
