Drills for basketball stance (ready position) are helpful. 1. Stance Theory: Thorough practice of turning around in offense and defense. 2. Stance Theory: Application to various techniques. List Price: ¥16,000 Publisher: Japan Lime Category: Basketball Coaching, Mini-Basketball Coaching This is a used item. Please check the photos and purchase only if you understand this. Product Description ★ Players handle the ball 48 times per game. In most of these instances, turning around is necessary! ★ Coach Tsuneyasu Suzuta, a Basketball Evangelist, provides thorough instruction on the movements every basketball player must master!! ★ Only by mastering a rigid stance can one be truly adaptable. - Basketball Doka 157 ■ Instruction & Commentary: Tsuneyasu Suzuta (Former Coach/Manager of the Unichika Women's Basketball Team) Born in Okayama City. Graduated from Waseda University. Former Coach/Manager of the Unichika Women's Basketball Team. Served as a coach for the Japanese national team in the World Championships, Asian Games, and other events. Currently coaches high school students and others in various locations. Author of Let's Start Basketball from the Heart (Oizumi Shoten) and other works. ■ Practical Demonstration: Meisei Gakuin High School Girls' Basketball Team The stance in sports is built and shaped through the process of growth and development in that sport to achieve victory. A rationalized stance becomes the starting point for everything; conversely, neglecting it will cause everything to fall apart. The series of movements that begin with the stance is arguably the most important for basketball players. This DVD meticulously explains how to perform the stance in offense and defense, and how to turn around after receiving the ball. Instruction and commentary are provided by Tsuneyasu Suzuta, former Unichika manager and former national team coach. He is currently active as a temporary coach for various schools, primarily in western Japan. Baseball players don't swing the bat more than 10 times per game, yet they practice swinging 1,000 times a day. What about basketball players? They handle the ball more than 48 times per game, but they don't practice the correct movements for those instances very much, says Mr. Suzuta. He emphasizes the importance of mastering the correct methods for stance, turning around, and stepping, and repeating them. The DVD also touches on fine points such as wrist usage and foot orientation, and introduces numerous drills for learning movements. This work is truly the essence of fundamentals. Please use it as the foundation of coaching. This is a used item. Please check the photos and purchase only if you understand this. Click here for the manufacturer's site
