Striking vintage Victorian Revival-style statement brooch featuring an ornate symmetrical gold-tone design with a large faceted emerald-green center glass stone and two smaller sapphire-blue faceted glass stones. The elaborate openwork design features floral and scrolling details with two decorative draped swag chains suspended below the brooch. The combination of jewel-tone stones, antique-inspired metalwork and chains gives the piece a dramatic Victorian/Renaissance Revival appearance. Brooch body measures approximately 3 inches wide, with the draped chains extending below the main body. Please refer to the ruler photo for dimensions. Condition: Good pre-owned vintage condition with age-related surface wear, patina/discoloration and finish variation visible on the metal and chain links. Stones appear present and intact in the supplied photographs. Pin and clasp are present. Please review all close-up photographs, as they form an important part of the condition description. No maker has been confirmed. Stones and metal have not been tested; therefore, the stones are conservatively described as glass and the metal as gold tone. A distinctive piece of vintage costume jewelry with an ornate Victorian Revival look.
