1-1/2 Quart Pyrex Divided Dish in Snowflake with Lid. Colorless glass and opaque white opalware glass, applied black color and applied white decal, machine-made. Oval shaped white dish, divided at center with handles and black exterior. Decorated with a white decal of snowflakes. Colorless lid divided at center.Snowflake, along with Pink Daisy, was released in 1956 as the first printed pattern on the opal PYREX line. The printed patterns were advertised as “NEW Pyrex Decorator Casseroles.” One of the selling points of this new casserole dish was its clear cover, meant to be used not only as a cover but as a trivet to protect table surfaces. It could even be used as an extra serving dish. Lid has light scratches on top. Small chip on handle. Casserole is in overall good condition.
