Vintage 1983 Activision Decathlon Headband Atari 2600 Promo Mail-In Trophy Cap Rare Up for sale is an incredibly rare, museum-grade piece of retro gaming history: an original 1983 Activision Decathlon promotional wearable headband/visor. This historic piece of gaming memorabilia was originally available as an exclusive premium tie-in for David Crane's legendary track-and-field game The Activision Decathlon on the Atari 2600. While dedicated players who achieved high scores could mail in screen photos for embroidered patches, this premium wearable headband was part of an ultra-exclusive bundle package associated with the official Decathlon Grip Glove hardware release. Because of its extreme scarcity, historical comps are virtually non-existent. Condition Details: - Exceptional vintage condition, especially given its 40+ year age. - Features the original internal Designer Award Cap manufacturer tag crisp and intact (Size M/L It Fits). - The internal white foam padding and Terry cloth lining are remarkably clean with no major deterioration or crumbling. - The rear elastic sizing strap and plastic adjustment slider are fully functional and intact. - Graphic print on the front is bold, dark, and highly legible
