Architectural stacked leather platform, dramatically widened at the midfoot and sharply tapered at the toe and heel Description: Archival Michel Perry lace-up slingback heels dating to the late 1980s–early 1990s, widely regarded as the designer’s most architecturally expressive period. Crafted in rich brown nappa leather, this pair combines an oxford-inspired lace-up vamp with a slingback construction, creating a refined yet intellectual silhouette. A defining feature of this design is the sculptural stacked leather platform, intentionally wide at the center of the foot and narrowing toward the toe and heel. This platform integrates visually with the curved sculptural heel, emphasizing balance, proportion, and mass rather than comfort padding. The result is a distinctly architectural form characteristic of late-1980s Parisian footwear design.
