Vintage John Running FRAGS sculptural wall plaque for Jondu Designs of Paso Robles, California, with a copyright date of 1993. This dimensional Southwestern-style plaque has the appearance of a weathered fragment of carved stone. The raised design features a central sunburst surrounded by stylized animals and birds inspired by ancient petroglyph imagery. Its irregular shape, textured surface and distressed-looking edges are intentional elements of the faux-stone design. The original FRAGS informational label remains attached to the back, along with the original metal hanger for easy wall display. Please note that this is petroglyph-inspired decorative artwork and is not being represented as authentic Native American-made art or an ancient artifact. Details • Artist: John Running • FRAGS line by Jondu Designs • Copyright dated 1993 • Paso Robles, California • Sculptural faux-stone wall plaque • Southwestern petroglyph-inspired design • Approximately 9 tall × 5½ at the widest point • Original back label and metal hanger Vintage condition with age-related spotting and discoloration on the unfinished back, wear to the paper label and oxidation around the hanger. The deliberately rough, irregular edges and weathered surface are part of the original design. Please review all photos closely for the complete condition.
