🇩🇪 Beautiful vintage West German commemorative porcelain souvenir display wall plate from the 10th International Volkswanderung (Volks-Hike) held in 1989 by the Wanderfreunde Schmitten-Hunoldstal hiking club. ✨ The front showcases a gorgeous, colorful illustration depicting locals dressed in traditional Schlitzer Tracht (authentic Hessian folk costumes) set against a scenic historic German village and church spire backdrop. The artwork is flanked by the official club logo and the striped lion crest of the German state of Hessen. Elegantly finished with a classic gold-gilded rim. 🍽️ The reverse side includes a pre-attached plastic wall hanger loop, making it completely ready to mount as decor. A wonderful graphic piece for volksmarching hobbyists, fans of traditional German attire/folklore, or collectors of regional European porcelain. A slight Sharpie mark towards the top was for hanger alignment • Material: Porcelain / China • Year: 1989 • Theme: Schlitzer Tracht Folk Costume / Hessen / Volksmarch • Origin: Schmitten, Hesse, Germany • 🔎 Condition: Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or fading. Bright graphics and sharp gold gilding. Ready to hang. (Please see photos for full details). • 📏 Dimensions: Approximately 8” diameter #VintageGerman #FolkCostume #TrachtArt #Volksmarch #Cottagecore
