Striking vintage batik textile wall hanging featuring two elongated, stylized female figures in elaborate traditional-inspired dress and ornate headdresses. The textile has a beautiful red, deep navy/black and white color palette with intricate geometric and decorative detailing throughout. The fine crackled and mottled appearance visible in the background is characteristic of the batik wax-resist technique and appears to be an intentional part of the artwork rather than staining. The long, narrow format makes this an eye-catching statement piece for a boho, eclectic, global, maximalist or vintage-inspired interior. Details: Measures approximately 51 long × 21 wide Batik textile wall art Features two stylized female figures Red, navy/black and white colorway Finished stitched edges No visible maker's label or signature Exact age, maker and country of origin are unknown Design resembles examples marketed as Merchant Twins, but attribution cannot be confirmed without a label or signature Condition: Good vintage condition with light signs of age and use.
