A charming and well-preserved vintage Italian box bag from the 1960s, by Forsum, made in Italy. The structured rectangular silhouette is woven in natural cream raffia with a rigid gold-tone top handle and a simple snap closure at the center front. Cream fabric lining inside. A classic example of the Italian resort and occasion bags that were widely coveted in the American market during this period. Condition: excellent vintage condition and structurally flawless. There are normal signs of use on the handle and a couple faint spots on the interior. Very well preserved vintage treasure! 8.5x5x3 Style Notes: The boxy silhouette and gold handle give this bag a polished, occasion-ready feel — perfect for a summer wedding, garden party, or any warm-weather event where a straw bag feels just right.
