This is a YAMAHA FG-500 with a red label. A rare early model from the 1970s. Purchased in 2024 from Kurosawa Gakki in Tokyo. It has been carefully set up by a skilled repairman, resulting in excellent sound and very easy playability. Perhaps due to the characteristics of Jacaranda, the response is very fast. While it's great for strumming, it's highly recommended for fingerpicking. If you are in the Tokyo metropolitan area, direct handover is possible, though a fee will be charged to cover actual costs. [Specifications] Top: Solid Spruce Back: Solid Jacaranda Sides: Jacaranda Plywood Neck: Mahogany Nut Width: 43mm Scale Length: 640mm String Height: 12th fret - 6th string approx. 2.3mm, 1st string approx. 2mm Truss Rod: Has room for adjustment in both directions Other: Wood binding Accessories: Non-original gig bag #Jacaranda #RedLabel #JapanVintage Click here for the manufacturer's site
