Up for sale is a stunning vintage mid-century jet black rhinestone flower stem brooch, AS-IS This piece features a dimensional daisy or sunflower design crafted with faceted, marquise-cut black glass rhinestones flanking a prominent round center stone. The back features a classic high-quality mid-century construction with a dark black japanned enamel coating and open-back settings that show off the cut of the glass stones. A beautifully moody, gothic, or alternative fashion statement piece. Details & Dimensions: Approx. 3 1/4 x 1 3/4 Color: Monochromatic Jet Black Construction: Japanned metal backing, open-back rhinestone cups Closure: Rolling safety pin clasp (straight pin stem with smooth action) Condition: Good vintage condition with gorgeous front-facing appeal. All jet-black glass rhinestones are original, fully present, and securely prong-set. Please note the following age-appropriate wear on the metal finish: - The black japanned enamel coating is flaking and peeling along the lower stem, exposing the copper-toned base metal underneath. - There is a small trace of green oxidation (verdigris) near the lower leaf prongs. - The pin needle is brass-toned and shows normal vintage discoloration/tarnish, but remains smooth, straight, and fully functional. - The rolling safety clasp functions flawlessly and locks tightly. The item is sold exactly as shown, As-Is. Please review all photos closely as they serve as the final description of the item's condition.
