The hard cover also has minor scratches and is in good condition. A copy of the instruction manual will be included. The machine operates smoothly, and the stitches are very clean. I sewed through 4 to 8 layers of denim with a difference in thickness, and it sewed easily. It also sewed very thin gauze without puckering, just as expected from Janome! (^^) The popular hand-stitched look stitch also sewed beautifully. Cleaned and serviced. This sewing machine is highly recommended for both beginners and advanced users! ■Machine Features (Hand-controlled operation, easy bobbin case, automatic needle threader, reverse stitch button, stepless speed control, free arm, height-adjustable presser foot, full-rotary horizontal hook with minimal thread tangling, one-touch needle position up/down, 7-piece feed dog, digital display, hand-stitched look stitch, drop feed, etc.) This is a Janome computer sewing machine. It's a very popular model. Test sewing was done smoothly. This machine is also known for its ability to sew thick materials. The sturdy 7-piece feed dog easily handles thick fabrics! (o^^o) I also sewed through two layers of leather. With the height-adjustable presser foot, even with the thickness difference of 4 to 8 layers of denim, there were no skipped stitches and the stitches were stable. The presser foot pressure is also adjustable, allowing for beautiful stitching even on thin fabrics. While it's a practical machine, it also comes with beautiful decorative stitches. The sewing space is designed to be wider, making it easier to sew large items. It felt very speedy, powerful, and yet quiet. Among Janome's practical machines, this is a favorite for its ease of use and variety of stitches, offering a great balance!
