【Extremely Rare 90's】Red Wing 8179 Embroidered Tag Vintage 10D This is Red Wing's legendary masterpiece, the 8179 Irish Setter. This pair features the Embroidered Tag from the late 1990s. Unlike current or recent models, this pair is expected to develop a desirable patina over time, which is highly sought after by fans of black chrome vintage boots. Brand: RED WING Model: 8179 Features: Embroidered Tag Size: US 10D (Approx. 28.0cm) Manufactured: Late 1990s Condition: The upper has been regularly maintained and retains a beautiful sheen, unbelievable for a 90s item. While there are some vintage-specific leather scuffs and marks overall, this is proof of the thick leather being well-used. This vintage character exudes a rugged aura that cannot be replicated in new boots. They are in a condition that allows for further development and character building. The insoles show minimal compression and have been kept clean. The white soles can be cleaned with sandpaper or similar, and there is still plenty of sole thickness remaining. We hope to pass these on to someone who appreciates the vintage character as a desirable feature and understands vintage clothing. Click here for the manufacturer's site
