THIROS is a celebrated heritage label based out of Athens, Greece, renowned for its architectural approach to luxury. This piece stems from a classic era when evening bags were designed as bare-minimum hand clutches—specifically scaled to carry the era's essentials: lipstick, tissues, breath mints, cigarettes, a lighter, cash, and keys. It was engineered to fit perfectly within the palm of a hand or to be nested inside a larger tote from the same design line. The Modern Adaptation: * The Floating Accessory * Originally designed entirely without handles to maintain pure, minimalist lines, this piece has been mindfully adapted for contemporary, hands-free wear. We opted in for black aluminum. The sleek chain and pin connectors align completely with the original black accents. Also, aluminum is incredibly strong yet virtually weightless; the bag retained its original balance and function, and when worn against dark or layered clothing the hardware visually disappears, allowing the vibrant orange leather to drift effortlessly on the body, fully preserving the designer’s original floating accessory intent.
