Lmatching pair of decorative heraldic wall plaques featuring a crowned shield motif framed by ornate scrollwork. The central design incorporates vertical banding and stylized feathered or wing-like elements, drawing on traditional European heraldic and Gothic design influences. made from a cast resin-based composite (composition material) with a painted faux-metal finish, including blackened surfaces and worn gilt highlights intended to resemble aged metal. 3 small chips (shown in photos) reveals the light-colored composite material beneath the finish. Each plaque is currently mounted on a modern black metal display bracket, which is included and allows for immediate wall or shelf display. The brackets are modern and not original • Material: Cast resin composite / composition • Finish: Painted faux metal (black with aged gold highlights) • Motif: Heraldic shield with crown and ornamental scrollwork Condition Notes: • Surface wear, finish loss, and patina consistent with age and decorative use • 2 Small edge chip ms visible (see photos), does not affect structural integrity • No observed cracks or repairs • Please review all photos carefully; they are part of the description Age: • Vintage, early to mid-20th century (circa 1930s–1950s), based on material, construction, and decorative style Dimensions: • Height: 11 1/2 inches • Width: 7 inches • Depth (plaque only): 3/4 inches
