The stone displays a mesmerizing organic landscape of deep rust, warm butterscotch, and translucent quartz inclusions, polished to a mirror-like sheen and secured within a crisp sterling silver bezel. The reverse boasts spectacular dual-signature provenance. It features the deep, crisp hallmarks HANDMADE FOR LENARD STERN INC. alongside a STERLING purity mark and the clear, distinct signature of renowned mid-century silversmith ADIN stamped along the lower edge. Lenard Stern was Chicago’s premier mid-century luxury men's outfitter, famously commissioned to design custom pieces for President Harry S. Truman, while Adin was celebrated for producing heavy, sculptural studio-art wearable jewelry. The backing is beautifully darkened with a rich, unpolished natural vintage patina and comes complete with its original mechanical clutching mechanism.
